About the role
Hybrid role - Required to work in office a minimum of 2 days per week (located at 77 Bloor St. W, Toronto, ON).

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting client accounts to aid in the development of marketing communications strategy and creative communications assets.
  • Ensuring delivery of highquality communication products, on time and on budget, while managing and ensuring quality of our services to clients (attention to detail, organized communication, responsiveness).
  • Project specific tasks such as writing project briefs, validating information with clients, building project proposals, investigating background on brand and category, building timelines, estimates, updating status reports, proofreading, managing print and digital production as it relates to your projects.
  • Daytoday client contact participating in meetings, consolidating next steps, following up on client internal & external approval processes.
  • Coordinating efforts of the projects between internal and external partners (creative, studio, developers, media agencies, suppliers, etc.) and managing/adjusting priorities.
  • Supporting senior staff in preparing proposals for new business or new ideas (presentation building skills).
  • Assisting senior staff in strategy development, tactical planning and ensuring strategy is carried through projects.
  • Managing priorities and maintaining client relationships regarding ongoing projects.
  • Managing invoicing and budget tracking in partnership with senior staff.
  • Aiding in the development of social media strategy, content creation and reporting.
  • Conducting media and PR outreach (ie. press release distribution, media engagement, etc.).
  • Communications/marketing background.
  • A minimum of 2 years of agency experience or relevant project management experience.
  • Outstanding project management, organization and prioritization abilities.
  • An interest in working with nonprofits, charities, and the sphere of social change.
  • Ability to work independently and to take ownership while being a team player and mindful of others.
  • Strong strategic potential and interest.
  • Enjoys listening, learning and adding value.
  • Understanding of social media and digital ecosystems; some experience with creative for social media and overall content strategy & development.
  • Previous experience with or understanding of content management systems (ie. Hootsuite)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment and work well under pressure.
  • Comfort with conducting research, analyzing data and deriving insights.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.

Salary:
Up to $55,000.00 per year
