Who are we?

  • The Civilian Review and Complaints Commission for the RCMP (CRCC) is an agency of the federal government, distinct and independent from the RCMP. The CRCC is a division of the Federal Core Public Administration under the responsibility of the Minister of Public Safety. The CRCC's employees are employees of the public service.
  • The CRCC receives, reviews and investigates complaints about the conduct of RCMP members. When reviewing a complaint, the Commission does not act as an advocate for either the complainant or the RCMP members. The Commission inquires into complaints independently and reaches conclusions after an objective examination of the information provided.

Education

Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary school program with acceptable specialization in paralegal studies or in a law-related field from a recognized institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience
Experience providing paralegal support services.
