Inside Counter Sales / Warehouse Worker


Acadia Atlantic ULC (Acadia Marjam) is a market leading supplier of drywall, steel studs, insulation, ceiling systems and other construction material.

We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the position of Inside Counter Sales / Warehouse Worker for our Bathurst N.B.

location.

Position requirements include (but are not limited to)

  • Process orders, inquiries & quotations
  • Direct involvement with ordering (procurement) and inventory control.
  • Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.
  • Strong computer skills including excel, word, outlook with the ability to learn our systems
  • Strong organizational skills combined with clear communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while demonstrating consistent follow up procedures.
  • Load and off load trailer as required
  • Some heavy lifting required
  • Valid Class 5 license with no major convictions/infractions.
Required experience

  • Forklift certificate or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year's counter sales or inside sales experience.
  • Experience with B2B sales including quotation and quotation follow up.

Considered assets:

  • Minimum one year's construction material experience. Specifically interior systems such as drywall, steel studs, insulation and ceiling systems
  • Procurement and inventory management and warehousing.
  • Valid Class 3 license
