Penner Building Centres Ltd., a COR Certified Supplier, we strive to be the premier building, home improvement and design centre in Southeastern Manitoba.

We are currently looking for a
Flooring Sales Consultant to join the team in our Flooring Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, either instore or by telephone, when working with clients to coordinate and create design projects, renovations, and new construction.
  • Develop a network of contacts to meet and exceed personal sales objectives.
  • Provide specialized product advise and recommendations to increase sales.
  • Prepare estimates, schedule inhouse consultations & measures, and arrange installations.
  • Ensuring the accurate processing of transactions and account charges.
  • Order specialty or custom products.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience and proficiency in POS computer systems is preferred.
  • Design and product knowledge is considered a definite asset but not required. Training is provided.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide professional and courteous assistance to customers and work well in a team environment.
