JOB OVERVIEW

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Respond to general questions/concerns relating to policies, procedures and benefits
  • Maintain employee personnel files, which includes filing and scanning
  • Prepare and process employee training requisitions
  • Prepare Letters of Employment
  • Responsible for the administration of tickets and Security Access Cards
  • Prepare cheque requisitions
  • Order baskets and floral arrangements, for CI staff as required
  • Participate in the Health and Safety, Fire Warden and Emergency Evacuation, and Disaster Recovery task force
  • Assist with the coordination of CI's annual charity campaigns, which includes organizing special events, tournaments, and administration of online tools
  • Assist with Virtual Grade 9 Take Your Kids to Work Day
  • General administrative duties including letters, photocopying, and carrying out special requests for ad hoc tasks
  • Fill in at Reception, as required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Should have one to two years' experience within the Human Resources field or related experience
  • Experience in a fastpaced, professional office environment
  • Postsecondary education; Completion of Human Resources Management diploma preferred
  • CHRP designation or working towards CHRP designation preferred
  • Strong PC skills in: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • General knowledge of HR related policies and programs
  • General knowledge of Employment Standards Act

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be available to work 9:30am 6:00pm shift
