Job Summary

Shift times: 8am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5pm (Monday to Friday)

The Account Associate I - Bilingual (IAM - TEAM) works collaboratively to retain and grow Small/Medium commercial Waste Management customers to drive shareholder value. This role focuses on developing strong retention strategies, negotiating customer agreements, and maximizing revenue from existing customers to ensure a positive business performance in the commercial sector.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Customer interaction (external and internal), response & follow up.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer account management matters, maintain high customer satisfaction, and build lasting relationships.
  • Align Waste Management products with customer needs and propose compliant solutions.
  • Negotiate, update, and renew service agreements to maximize profits.
  • Resolve customer requests and collaborate to address escalations or issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and utilize sales tools accurately.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue opportunities.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
  • Experience: One (1) year of business-to-business account management experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  • None required.

  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Effectively convert customer requests into long-term relationships.
  • Build relationships across various business types.
