About Us:
The Data, Privacy and Innovation Division uses a one-government approach to information and privacy governance, decision-making and service delivery across the Government of Alberta (GoA) balanced with individual client needs.
This facilitates enhanced data sharing, collaboration, reduction in data duplication and innovation to ensure effective and efficient services across the government to provide better services to Albertans.
Role:
The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct and maintain an audit framework to ensure efficient response to audits by Office of the Auditor General (OAG).
- Provide coordination with operational teams for the collection and collation of documentation in support of Audit requests.
- Promote continuous service improvement by leveraging disaster recovery test results, debriefings, and other feedback on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications:
Required:
University graduation in computer science or a related discipline plus two (2) years of related experience.
- Equivalencies:
- A related two-year diploma in computer technology or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution and four (4) years of related experience.
- A related oneyear certificate from a recognized postsecondary institution and five (5) years of related experience.
- Assets:
- Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) from ISACA designation is an asset.
- Knowledge of and hold ITIL Foundation and/or COBIT training.
- Ability to facilitate management discussions and decisionmaking processes and lead groups with differing perspectives toward consensus.
- Excellent written and communication skills.

Salary:
$2,678.67 to $3,677.93 bi-weekly ($69,913 to $95,994/yearly)
