In this role, you will support three (3) individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behaviors, helping to enhance their quality of life within their homes and communities.

Hours:
Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm; totaling 22.5 awake hours per week

Your Responsibilities:

- Build strong relationships with individuals with disabilities
- Advocate for them within the community
- Collaborate effectively with the individual and their support team to help them reach their goals
- Complete necessary daily documentation tasks
- Support and engage in recreational activities
- Handle administrative duties and maintain cleanliness of the home
- Contribute to ongoing program enhancements
- Hold a High School diploma
- Possess at least six (6) months of experience in the Human Services field
- Security Clearance Check, including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
- Hold Emergency First Aid-Level A CPR + AED certification
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license, current driver's abstract, a reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer/word processing tasks
- Ability to provide personal care assistance
- Knowledge and ability to implement approved restrictive practices
- Strong desire to see individuals achieve success
Starting Salary:
$18.42 - $19.56 per hour depending on experience
