The Role


A cross functional role working directly with our Client Solutions (CS) and Sales teams, you will be owning and executing critical operational tasks needed to hit our sales and expansion targets with F500 enterprise clients.

You will get an opportunity to create and drive critical operational processes for our VPs, Account Executives, Account Managers.

In doing so, you will triage many competing priorities, deliver a high volume of foundational work and catalyze the success of your team mates.


In this role at Valence you'll have the opportunity to be a part of a scaling organization and impact the foundations of high performing Sales, GTM and CS teams.

Location

What You'll Do

Tools and systems management - Supporting the import, sanitization and ongoing extraction of data in SalesForce, Hubspot, SalesLoft.

Data input and analysis:

  • Inputting client data and performing routine analysis in Excel.
-
Dashboard and report management - Maintaining client dashboards and pulling reports.
-
Sales motion support - Prospecting outbound leads, pilot set up and management, running client surveys and other ongoing sales processes.
-
CS motion support - sanitizing decks for clients, project managing workstreams, completing in app work (ex. Closing reports)
-
Knowledge management - Building, consolidating and maintaining a database of client facing materials
-
Scheduling and meeting preparation - supporting AEs, AMs, VPs and Directors as needed.

  • Other work as needed to support the day to day operations of Sales, GTM and CS.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of relevant experience with an operational and administrative background in professional services, Saas/startups or other fast paced organization.
  • Exceptional organization abilities to triage, prioritize and execute on competing workflows. You thrive in ambiguity and can make sense of chaos in a systematic way.
  • Experience managing data through various software; SalesForce, Hubspot and/or SalesLoft are preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with internal stakeholders in a persuasive and influential way, in absence of direct authority.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, experience with Tableau, Airtable and other client facing software is welcomed.
  • Strong service mindset that gives you energy from catalyzing the work and success of others.
  • A clear bias for action and self governance, you have the natural ability to tackle challenges with independence.
  • Positive and persistent attitude, finding small wins in the context of a messy system and longgame approach. You aren't easily deterred.
  • You have clear motivations for wanting to work at a Series A startup focused on manager and team enablement and learning and development as your next professional challenge.
