Manage the day to day functioning of the branch business.
Duties and responsibilities
- Pick and Package Orders for customers as they are generated
- Daily outbound customer calling to generate sales with GSDs, LBMs, GCs, School Boards, Universities/Colleges, Healthcare, etc.
- Lead generation through phone calls, internet searches and other methods in coordination with outside sales and sales management.
- Greet visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner, explain products and options, close the sale or involve the Territory Manager for further follow up.
- Order processing, shipping, stock inquiries, payments and other duties related to the ongoing distribution center operation.
- Inventory management.
- Picking and packing of orders as required.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum grade 12 high school diploma.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Selfstarter and capable of working independently.
- Understanding construction methods.
- Professional phone manner.
- Outbound calling experience is an asset.
- Office and warehouse environment.
- Computer and phone work.
- Some picking and packing of orders.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repetitively.
- Forklift operation.
- Sitting in an office environment
- Computer, phone and office work
- Warehouse work
- Loading of large, heavy material safely
- Safe operation of a forklift if properly trained
- Able to lift 75+ lbs regularly
Pay:
$20.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
