Position Overview:

  • Job Title - Business Development Representative
  • Job Type - Full time
  • Location - North York
  • Salary - Competitive package
  • Working Hours - Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in boosting our market presence by identifying and qualifying new opportunities, creating and implementing sales strategies for logistics solutions, and leading key sales campaigns and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of over-the-road, intermodal, ocean, and air shipments.
  • Proficiency in transportation terminology and equipment.
  • Outstanding entrepreneurial and negotiation skills for closing deals and reaching out to potential clients.
  • Superb customer relations, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, records management, and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate outside sales leads and revenue by expanding existing accounts and seeking new ones.
  • Boost pipeline, sales, and revenue.
  • Create effective sales strategies through market insights.
  • Innovate the sales process and enhance sales operations.
  • Acquire new customers and retain current accounts.
  • Promote services and products across all departments and align sales efforts with other teams.
  • Research potential clients and educate them on our shipping solutions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing concerns.
  • Exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and negotiate proposals and rate agreements with clients.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities.
