The Opportunity:
The Office Coordinator position supports both Hestia Construction and AgeCare.
This position is the first point of contact for visitors to Walden Plaza and is therefore responsible for providing and maintaining a professional image and a high level of service for AgeCare and Hestia.
Within the scope of this position, the Office Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating several administrative functions to support the daily function and work of Hestia and AgeCare.
This position has a key role to continually provide an environment promoting a culture of client safety and supporting an accident free workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greets all visitors, residents, families and staff in a cheerful manner, in person and on the telephone
- Prepares outgoing mail and courier packages on a daily basis
- Ensures public areas and meeting rooms are tidy, including daily disinfection, organized and presentable at all times
- Prepares and coordinates meeting rooms to ensure readiness for next scheduled functions as well as organizing approved catering for selected meetings
- Responsible for corporate car bookings and scheduled maintenance as well as booking rental cars as required
- Coordinates and maintains supplies for the photocopiers and any other designated office equipment as appropriate for the building
What you'll need:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Postsecondary education an asset
- Must have exceptional English communication skills, both orally and in writing
- General knowledge of office procedures
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- 1+ years' experience in a similar role and/or industry preferred
