This coordinator position is responsible for supporting and participating in the development of Cogeco's network activity program strategies with a strong focus on expansion projects.

The Network Strategy Coordinator is accountable to support and maintain effective communication and relationships with our government partners to ensure expansion projects progress as planned and are well executed.

This position supports the Network Strategy Manager to gather, track and analyze data requirements to support network business cases that acquire new customers and enhance existing services to ensure we are capturing higher market share and optimizing ROI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Support the Network Strategy Manager to build and maintain government partner relationships to support network expansion programs in each of the project territories. Coordinate, document, track and follow up on all communication interactions between Cogeco Network Strategy and government partners for all expansion projects. Answer government partner inquiries and potential customer inquiries on all project requests through a shared inbox. Assist and support journalistic questions and press release communications regarding all expansion projects. Support the Network Strategy Team by coordinating all network activities to establish a full schedule of network activities including expansion, organic extension, modernizations. Support Network Strategy Manager and engineering and planning to help determine the scope and priority of network projects - including timing, sizing, costing, revenue benefits, competitive advantage etc. in order to create a viable project business case Partner with the Network Strategy Lead and GTM marketing manager to develop a briefing sequence for network expansion, extension and upgrade projects to provide and review the forecasted network activities including the HP, timelines, competitive information, segmentation to support the growth of market share. Support BI team with the HP and Sales forecasting from network activities by partnering with the network delivery team, marketing and operations to provide the full strategic network implementation plan. Support the development and maintenance of reports and insights on network activities to measure and track success of all activities. Supports the weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to present the progress of network marketing; progress on HP, connect performance, budget spending and status of projects. Provide project status' and identify any risks, roadblocks causing potential delays to completion dates. Attend all review meetings to get updates on project status. Able to work independently and present results to a group. Willing to take on additional responsibilities as the role changes Assists with other requests as required and performs special projects as assigned. As required, responsible for group administrative tasks to support the team and management group. As part of this function, the incumbent must take all necessary measures to ensure their health and safety at work and comply with all Health & Safety instructions, guidelines, policies and procedures. To support Cogeco's ultimate goal of providing excellent service to current and potential customers, the incumbent must be constantly attentive and responsive to both external and internal customers' needs and assist in the resolution of any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.- ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • ACADEMIC TRAINING
  • Minimum College Diploma in relevant discipline or combination of equivalent education and work experience requiredWORK EXPERIENCE
  • Prefer a minimum 35 year relevant experience in related industry with the majority in a large tele/cable communications company with experience in network marketing coordination 510 years of proven ability to effectively coordinate network marketing and/or sales strategies from concept to completion.
SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESKnowledge of project implementation processes and working with cross-functional teamsKnowledge of Workday and SWAT program would be an asset. Experienced in effectively coordinating portions of multiple projects and working with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously, efficiently and within a pre-determined time frame.
