Organizational Imperatives

The HR/Admin Supervisor is responsible for:

  • Primarily, leading the charge to create and develop driven team members by overseeing administrative and human resources of the Chick-fil-A Eaton Centre Mall business.
  • Complete weekly schedule in a timely manner
  • Oversee uniform orders, and all other administrative items
  • Complete payroll every two weeks. Correct/update time punches throughout the week to enable proper tracking of labour
  • Input, track, and pay all supplier invoices and proper documentation of all paidouts
  • Grow and develop all leaders who are within your influence
  • Complete any other duties given by the Operator
  • Mange selection, grading, and recruiting process to hire top talent
  • Work with Operator and ensure hiring goals are achieved weekly, monthly, quarterly
  • Update employee files through paperless charting
  • Ensure ESA is being followed in the business
  • Conduct initial interviews for all new Team Members.
  • Manage onboarding for all Team Members and Supervisors
  • Manage recruitment software i.e HigherME, HotSchedules. etc
  • Plan for future hiring targets and onboarding processes for Team Members
  • Manage 5step Team Member and Supervisor journey
  • Manage Team Members PDP and ensure SMART goals are up to date
  • Celebrate milestones for all Team Members on wallboard and share success with everyone
  • Plan courses and open them for all Team Members on CFA Pathway as required
  • Collate all Team Member feedback from Team Member Surveys
  • Share information at Managers' weekly meeting

How will you know this position has been successful?
We will know the HR/Admin Supervisor is successful upon attaining the following:

  • Zero late payments on all accounts and timely processing of payroll.
  • Timely completion of schedule and labour cost to benchmark, including limiting overtime.
  • Newly hired team members are properly trained on the store's proper procedures, policies and ChickfilA culture.
  • Effectively leverage recruiting tools to recruit top, retainable talent and achieve hiring goals.

The HR/Admin Supervisor should:

  • Must be willing and able to serve in all areas of the business if called upon
  • Work a minimum of forty hours per week
  • Be goaloriented and organized
  • Allocate necessary time each week to administrative tasks, planning, or coaching (communicate with schedule maker to ensure it's planned in)
  • Combine critical thinking and practical leadership to enthusiastically and passionately lead this area
  • Effectively coach and give direction
  • High standards of operational excellence and show attention to detail

Flexible Hours:

  • You probably have commitments to your family, friends, school or sports teams. We will try to arrange your work schedule around them.

Closed Sundays - All Chick-fil-A restaurants are closed on Sundays so you can have a day off to spend with family and friends.

Work Directly With A Chick-fil-A Operator:

  • The Operator is an independent business person, responsible for the operation of the restaurant, who invests time in his or her employees, teaching them important business skills for the future.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
  • Embodies Restaurant vision and mission
  • Experience with HR coordination and paperwork i.e
  • Payroll, onboarding, employee records etc.
  • Available to work during the heart of the business (44 hours per week)
  • Manage Staff incentives program and adapt them as required
  • Manage Staff PDP's and ensure timely engagement for each Team Member is met and time bound
  • Manage the master schedule for the restaurant including events and promotional items
  • Ability to independently create tasks and execute as required in the restaurant
  • Ability to listen effectively and understand issues surrounding operations while building a plan to solve them
  • Well organized and effective communicator to address restaurant needs
  • Ability to forecast staffing needs and have a proactive mindset
  • Servant leader with a passion to serve our community
  • Ability to use HR Software effectively to organize tasks daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly
