Position Overview

Reporting to the Director, People, and Culture, this is an exciting and truly unique career opportunity for a passionate HR professional who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role.

You will be tasked with assisting the implementation of our HR processes, recruitment, and culture initiatives. You will support with our new employee engagement programs and several HR projects for the company. You will assist in managing our HRIS and recruitment systems as well as HR analytics and metrics processes. You will also assist with new talent attraction strategies across the company globally. While providing admin support for HR you will also champion our payroll and new employee onboarding.

What you'll do:

_People _:

  • Lead the process of attract & recruit people_
  • Work with hiring Managers to develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Prepare recruitment materials and manage job postings alongside appropriate Talent Agencies, Social Media Networks, Internal Job Boards, and Jolera affiliated Colleges under the discretion of the People & Culture Sr. Manager
  • Help with outreach sourcing and recruiting through various outlets such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
  • Assist with promoting Company's reputation and awareness
  • Prepare reports on new hire metrics (e.g., timetofill, timetohire, and source of hire)
  • Organize our employee referral process, including asking for referrals and managing bonus payouts
  • Lead the full cycle of employee onboardings: get approvals for new staff equipment and credentials, prepare the necessary paperwork, schedule training, HR onboarding & Jolera tour
- (Re)Design & implement HR policies and support the development of policies

  • Lead labor relations activities for North America (focused heavier on Canada) and provide direct support in this matter
  • Design and implement HR programs for training, performance management, employee engagement, and retention.

_Human Resources:
_


  • Assist in the administration of employee recognition programs
  • Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system for Human Resources
  • Manage and maintain all unique membership programs
  • Complaints, grievance procedures, and employee relations
  • Provide support to the Director, People and Culture, and HR Coordinator with administrative tasks as they are assigned
  • Coordinate culturerelated activities such as weekly, monthly, and annual internal events in collaboration with the Marketing team

_Payroll & Employee Onboarding:

  • Assist with payroll updates under the supervision of the Finance
  • Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g., preparing the necessary paperwork and scheduling training)
  • Manage complaints, grievance procedures, and employee relations
  • Knowledge of legal requirements in labor relations, reducing legal risks, and ensuring compliance
  • Work with Jolera HQ to get approvals for new staff equipment and credentials
  • Manage and maintain membership programs, such as Gym, Pharmacy, Medical Care, Dental Care, etc.
  • Oversee benefits administrations, enrolments, and terminations

Who you are:

  • A Degree in Human Resources preferred or relevant experience
  • 35 years' experience in the HR area, preferably in the IT/Tech space
  • Knowledge of local labor laws
  • Strong communications skills and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of individuals.
