Our ValuesCollaboration Accountability Respect Excellence Program Development CoordinatorReporting to the Manager, National Program Development, the Program Development Coordinator will support the development of funded, national programs, focusing on operational, logistical and administrative priorities.

The Coordinator will support the access of people living with dementia and their care partners to the Alzheimer Society through the expansion of existing programs, while also supporting the creation of new projects and programs that in the future.

The Coordinator will support the team with delivering on key deliverables, while also managing administrative tasks for meetings, including invites, agenda writing, note-taking, and tracking and reporting on various objectives.

What You'll be DoingAssist with crafting project plans, timelines and administration for seamless execution.
Collaborate with the team to streamline efforts across multiple programs.
Ensure key deliverables are met by supporting the completion of tasks and activities.

Support grant applications to ensure timely submissions and compliance with funder requirements, participating in the development of proposals and reports.

Assist with programmatic data collection procedures, supporting with the coordination of analysis and reports.

Contribute to effective relationship management with Alzheimer Society Federation partners by supporting information sharing as needed to meet key deliverables.

Help with tracking project expenditures for diligent fiscal reporting.

Manage other administrative tasks such as documentation creation and meeting coordination with collaborators, creating agendas and taking notes of key activities.

Other projects/duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications and EducationA bachelor's degree; equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

A degree in Health Sciences, Public Health and/or related discipline is an asset.2 years related practical experience, ideally within non-profit or health sector.

Strategic thinker, able to understand a broader vision within a complex environment.
Ability to problem solve to overcome challenging obstacles.
Excellent relationship management style for various collaborators & partners.
Clear communication skills.
Demonstrable analytical perspective.
Impeccably organized with well-honed time management skills.
Must be capable with Microsoft Office Suite with ability to learn other software tools quickly.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive mindset, as part of a team to identify needs, complete tasks, and provide support through essential work.

Passion for our mission and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
Knowledge of dementia, health or community care, health programs and services, and/or health systems is an asset.
