Job Type: Temporary Part-Time (12 Hours/Week)

Organization Overview: The Macaulay Child Development Centre is a dynamic organization dedicated to helping kids, families, and communities thrive.

Job Summary: The Program Coordinator will lead the More Than a Haircut program, designed to empower Afro-Caribbean fathers and father figures through various initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing program strategies to engage with the target community
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to build partnerships and secure resources
  • Reporting on program progress and outcomes
  • Providing support and guidance to program participants

Requirements:

  • University degree in Social Work or a related field
  • 5 years' experience in parent support or community development
  • Expertise in issues affecting Afro-Caribbean fathers
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
