Job Title:
Technical Product ManagerOur client specializes in creating data-driven solutions for the concrete industry. Their mission is to transform concrete construction into a more eicient, sustainable, and safer practice. We are seeking a seasoned Technical Product Manager to join our expanding team in Toronto.

This role, reporting to the Director of Product & Hardware, is essential in guiding the product suite from conception through to launch.

You will collaborate closely with our Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Customer Support teams, as well as engage directly with clients, to ensure our products align with client needs and market demands.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with company objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify client requirements, industry trends, and competitive differentiators.
  • Draft PRDs and Jira Epics to outline new product features and specifications.
  • Work with engineering teams to develop and refine product features through sprint planning, feature demos, and defect triage sessions.
  • Partner with the QA team to ensure new products meet functional and usability standards before release.
  • Engage with product stakeholders, including clients, users, and internal teams, to gather feedback and determine feature prioritization.
  • Plan and execute product launches and releases, including developing launch training, onboarding, and ensuring successful user adoption.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Support to track product performance metrics.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as user guides and training materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or a combination of education and technical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical product management, ideally with hardware solutions, IoT, or a similar technical field.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software technologies, with experience in the construction industry being a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making and solutions.
  • A passion for meeting client needs and delivering an exceptional user experience.
