  • Accounting Clerk, Victoria BC
  • Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Execute on the AP workflow, ensuring timely payment processing
  • Communication with vendors on queries and issues and carryforward balances
  • Review and post invoices for processing and payment in a digitalized system
  • Maintain organization of AP documents and payment batches
  • Act as the owner of the leasing administration platform (Prolease)
  • Coordinate with the Real Estate management team to update and amend
  • Execute on the monthly rent roll and payment process
  • Communication with landlords and updating the leasing system
  • Implement adhoc improvement projects to the lease management system


Your Profile
  • Ability to build and maintain working relationships with others, both internally and externally
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions to enhance the company's effectiveness
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Superior attention to detail and the capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency
  • Discretion due to involvement with confidential information


Qualifications
  • Minimum Grade 12 Education
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Relevant experience in an office environment
  • Proficient in MS Office software and internet
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems an asset
