PRIMARY LOCATION:
Coleraine Drive and George Bolton Parkway in Bolton, Ontario. L7E 3B1.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead a productive, high performing Inventory Control team.
  • Create and communicate achievable benchmarks and KPI's for efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
  • Create, implement, communicate and maintain policies and procedures to manage physical inventories for all warehouses. Perform audits to ensure compliance with inventory management policies.
  • Develop and lead a cycle count program for all warehouses, ensuring accurate reporting in the WMS.
  • Partner with Warehouse Operations teams to establish or ensure review of all warehouse inventory processes, customer onboarding, item master setup and warehouse bin maintenance.
  • Identify root causes of inaccuracies/noncompliance. Provide recommendations to resolve root causes.
  • Develop inventory control and governance policies, including site audits and inventory control reporting processes.
  • Oversee the design, monitoring, and implementation of inventory control processes.
  • Monitor item master setup for new customer accounts. Identify root causes of inaccuracies. Ensure issues are resolved.
  • Ensure inventory handling processes and service levels comply with the standards of the customer contract, and to internal standard operating procedures.
  • Resolve customer inventory issues and discrepancies.
  • Other duties and assignments as required.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • College Diploma / University Degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an inventory management role with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role.
  • 3PL warehouse experience, preferably in a multiclient facility.
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to inventory management practices.
  • Experience developing and leading a cycle count program and inventory procedural audits.
  • Experience developing inventory control KPI monitoring reports.
  • Knowledge of electronic barcode, RFID inventory systems and accounting procedures.
  • Experience with item unit of measure conversion policies and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of regulatory regulations is an asset i.e. GMP, AIB.
  • Valid current MHE Operating Certificates for powered mobile lift equipment.
  • Intermediate computer skills required in Excel i.e. pivot tables, vlook ups, etc.
  • WMS experience. HighJump is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form.
  • Analytical, accurate and detail oriented.
  • Work well under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
  • Ability to travel to other locations within and outside the GTA as required.
