Job Title:
Technical Trainer/Support (Epoxy and concrete repair)

JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Genaral Manager, the Trainer/Technical Support ensures the training and development of franchisee members in Canada

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Training

  • Increase the level of expertise of franchisees throughout the year, as requested by the franchisee and/or the franchisor.
  • Participate in the writing and updating of technical training documentation.
  • Optimize procedures applicable to site work (best practices) and share with franchisees.

Technical Support

  • Provides first and second level support to franchisees, advising them based on difficulties experienced and communicating with the manufacturers when the problem is not resolved; according to applicable franchisor policies;
  • Participates in the research and development process of new products/services for the franchisor. Make recommendations.
  • Participate in the realization of "special projects" mandate.
  • Accompaniment on site
  • Support the franchisee in his major projects as an applicator, if necessary.
  • Work on site with franchisees on various residential mandates

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience on site as a cement worker or applicator or related field.
  • Trainer in the field of construction or renovation

Required skills and qualities:

  • Fluent in English languages, both oral and written.
  • Fluent in French, both oral and written (an asset).
  • Ability to vulgarize complex concepts.
  • Excellent customer service skills, impeccable work ethic.
  • Care about the corporate image and the values conveyed by the group.
  • Teamwork.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues on a "winwin" basis.
  • Show initiative and creativity.
  • Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

  • Position 4 days a week.
  • Work on the road, on site, in the office and at home.
  • Availability outside normal working hours (occasionally).
  • Available to travel across Canada (occasionally).
