- This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work

- Potential locations for Saskatchewan: Allan, Cory, Lanigan, Patience Lake, Vanscoy, Saskatoon and Rocanville
- Term (16 months): Dates can be adjusted/extended to coincide with school terms.
- Spring 2025 - May 5, 2025 - August 28, 2026
What you will do:
- Assist the Engineering department with various duties, including:
- Collaborate on meaningful projects
- Provide technical support on various key initiatives
- Analyze data to support continuous improvement, recovery improvement, and cost reduction
- Work to optimize process and productivity in collaboration with maintenance, engineering and operations
- May also be involved in design work and project management
What you will bring:
- Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering program (or equivalent) at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term
- Demonstrated positive safety behaviour and safety leadership
- Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training
- Excellent interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
- Motivation to set and achieve goals, take initiative, and nurture projects forward
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Preference will be given to candidates with mining or heavy industrial experience
- 3D CAD skills, especially in Inventor would be considered an asset but not required
