As a Planogram Coordinator, you will be responsible for setting up, updating, and maintaining planograms using software such as Blue Yonder. You will work closely with Category Managers and Field Merchandisers to ensure planograms are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with sales strategies and merchandising standards. Location: Hybrid role, with time spent at our office (47 Railside Rd), in stores (primarily within the GTA) and working from home


Responsibilities:

  • Create planograms for our Healthy Planet stores and departments using Blue Yonder software, ensuring accurate placement of products and adherence to merchandising guidelines.
  • Liaise with various teams regarding planogram timing and execution, providing seasonal guides and merchandising updates.
  • Analyze past and current sales patterns to recommend volume, placement of facings and products within planograms.
  • Assist in the success of new product launches by developing strategic, coordinated planograms that maximize visibility and sales potential.
  • Provide innovative visual aesthetics through planograms, developing creative ways to merchandise products and enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in business discussions, provide space planning expertise, and contribute to strategic merchandising plans.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers to understand product assortments, promotions, and sales objectives, and ensure planograms align with business goals.
  • Liaise with Category Managers to keep planograms updated with the latest product information, pricing, and promotions.
  • Conduct regular sales analyses to evaluate planogram effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with the stores to gather feedback on planogram performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Train store personnel on planogram implementation and provide ongoing support to ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines.
  • Monitor planogram compliance in stores and provide support to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in planogram design and implementation and incorporate learnings into planogram development.
  • Play a key role in implementing and optimizing Blue Yonder software to streamline our merchandising processes and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation, user adoption, and ongoing support for the software platform.
  • Assist in other merchandising-related tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in planogram management, preferably in the Retail sector.
  • Proficiency in planogram software such as Blue Yonder is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for merchandising standards and product placement.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of retail operations and sales strategies is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
