About the role

Our growing DevOps team is looking for a Senior Product Owner

You will take a leading role in developing our Platform As A Service to standardize, accelerate and facilitate their work within the technical lifecycle of a product.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the development effort by building the platform vision to an Agile delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value.

  • Be responsible for the business aspects of the project including ensuring the right products.

  • Lead, plan, track and be accountable for all phases of the products life cycle from the beginning.

  • Propose new product ideas & design & develops concepts.

  • Communicate with stakeholders, internal and external, to define the product vision and strategy ensuring their interests are included in the release.

  • Follow-up with stakeholders on a need basis.

  • Inspire the team to deliver best-in-class products.

  • Be responsible for product evolution afterwards and technical debt.

  • Build and define a vision and long-term roadmap for the products in accordance with business and user needs and market trends.

  • Be also responsible to sell that vision to stakeholders.

What you bring:

  • College or bachelorâs degree in information technology or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

  • 5-7 years of experience as Product Owner.

  • Expertise with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with source code management.

  • Experience with K8S as the runtime and container orchestrator.

  • Experience with Vault as the secret manager, password storage, etc.

  • Excellent understanding of Agile and DevOps.

  • Knowledge with Helm technology: common deployment charts (asset).

  • Bilingualism (French and English) â Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country. 

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
