The Admin III position is necessary to answer phone calls, provide information regarding services by phone and in person, schedule appointments for patients including walk-ins patients, provide first-time patients with appropriate information and SUPPORT them to fill in the forms necessary for health records, maintain patient health records, review and prepare patients charts for upcoming appointments, enter patient information into a data base, file and fax information as required, process patient referrals, order and stocking of office supplies, and general office duties supporting the clinical dental team (the dentists, and dental assistants of the Red Deer Public Health Dental Clinic). This position reports to the manager and to the program dental chief.The Public Health Dental Clinic program provides dental services to the population vulnerable to poor health outcomes. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
