Cascadia Metals seeks an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role will be a permanent, full-time position located out of our Head office branch in Delta. BC. The successful candidate will increase profitability by promoting products, creating value, and providing product support.


Responsibilities:

  • Pursuing opportunities to position our products and services
  • Promote and maintain good customer relationships by servicing phone calls, delivering on customer needs and assisting in problem resolution
  • Working with sales and administration teams to prepare proposals/quotes and to process customer orders
  • Use a consultative sales approach to maintain and improve customer relationships in all areas, including product knowledge, special requests, program building, sales issues, and future business
  • Participate with management in updating your territory plan and setting sales goals
  • Learn and apply new product knowledge to enhance sales and personal professionalism
  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes, new products and developments in the company and the industries which we support

Requirements:

  • Steel industry Experience would be an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, exceptional judgment, dependability, excellent teamwork skills, good time management skills, creativity, problem-solving, hardworking & persistent, professional competence, proactive
  • Ability to cultivate new customers and opportunities while maintaining and growing current account base
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license
