YOUR IMPACT
As a Senior Procurement Operations Specialist at OpenText, you will play a critical role in optimizing vendor relationships, driving procurement efficiencies, and ensuring top-tier service delivery across the organization. You will be pivotal in shaping procurement processes that directly impact the company’s success, enabling our teams to achieve excellence in operational performance and vendor management.
 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
• Lead and manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring procurement objectives are aligned with business goals.
• Drive vendor performance management, establishing key performance indicators and developing reports to enhance service excellence.
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, recommending actionable insights for improvement.
• Implement vendor management programs and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Spearhead procurement initiatives and lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with finance and internal stakeholders to negotiate contracts and optimize cost savings.
• Ensure accurate vendor performance tracking and organize routine business reviews to maintain transparency and accountability. 


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, supplier relations, or procurement operations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in managing large datasets and drawing meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in vendor master data design, project coordination, and compliance standards.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills to effectively liaise with both vendors and internal teams.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and various project management tools; knowledge of procurement or vendor management systems is an asset.
