The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer performs analysis, design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions across multiple business lines and technical platforms. This role is essential in fostering data-driven decision-making across the organization by translating complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in Azure, SQL and Power BI, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.

What will you do in this job?- Design, develop, test and deploy end-to-end BI solutions - data pipelines, dashboards, reports and datasets
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes, define requirements, design solutions and collaborate in data validation, ensuring the final solution meets or exceeds all business needs
- Work closely with Accounting and Finance to achieve better data integration and reporting within their systems
- Provide ongoing timely support for existing BI solutions and processes
- Author and maintain complex queries, focusing on data accuracy, relevancy and performance
- Create and enhance technical documentation for all BI solutions
- Participate in data warehouse design
- Provide training to end users on tools and analytics
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- BS or BA in Computer Science (or similar) or 4 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance processes and concepts
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database & Azure Data Lake
- Experience with data extraction via APIs
- Advanced Power BI, DAX and SQL Server Reporting Services development experience
- Knowledge of data integration with ERP systems - Point of Sale (POS) preferred
- Proficiency in SQL programming (queries, views, stored procedures, functions) and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiar with platforms like Databricks and Data Lakes
- Ability to develop presentation-ready, engaging and effective data visualizations
- Create and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting information
- PREFERRED SKILLS: Dynamics 365, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Delta Lake, Understanding of travel/hospitality industry
