Ce quâil sera attendu de vous

Ingénieurs support au sein de l'équipe Solution Engineering & Introduction (SE&I) spécialisée dans les systèmes optiques. SE&I est une équipe d'ingénierie orientée client, qui travaille directement avec les organisations de développement de produits, de gestion de produits, d'ingénierie commerciale et de services pour garantir la préparation technique nécessaire à la mise sur le marché de nos solutions de pointe.

En général, l'étudiant devra soutenir l'équipe SE&I Optical Systems pour les activités quotidiennes telles que la préparation et les tests en laboratoire, en plus de mettre en Åuvre un environnement de laboratoire pour tester les interfaces nord et/ou les fonctionnalités de sécurité du réseau afin qu'il soit facilement disponible. pour les tests clients.

L'étudiant devra :

  • apprendre les concepts des interfaces nord et/ou des fonctionnalités de sécurité réseau.
  • concevoir, tester et mettre en Åuvre un environnement Linux pour faciliter le test de ces concepts.
  • documenter le travail et former l'équipe élargie.

Exigences :

  • Actuellement inscrit à un baccalauréat en génie électrique, en génie électronique, en génie logiciel, en informatique ou dans un programme d'ingénierie équivalent.
  • Une compréhension de base de l'industrie de la terminologie et de la technologie des réseaux de télécommunications telles que la communication optique, Ethernet et OTN est un atout.
  • Compréhension de base de l'industrie du framework GRPC, NETCONF et REST API.
  • Connaissance pratique d'Unix/LINUX
  • Excellente compréhension et utilisation de MS Office 365 (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Frame Maker) et Adobe.
  • Excellent dans l'élaboration et la documentation de spécifications techniques et de présentations.
  • Bonnes capacités de recherche et de réflexion logique

How You Will Contribute:

Support engineers in the Solution Engineering & Introduction (SE&I) team specialized in optical systems.  SE&I is an engineering, customer-facing team, that works directly with Product Development, Product Management, Sales Engineering and Services organizations to ensure the engineering readiness in bringing our cutting-edge solutions to market.

In general, the student will need to support the SE&I Optical Systems team for day-to-day activities such as lab preparation and testing in addition to implementing a lab environment for testing of north bound interfaces and/or network security features to be readily available for customer testing.

Student will need to:

  • learn the concepts of northbound interfaces and/or network security features.
  • design, test and implement a Linux environment to facilitate the testing of these concepts.
  • document the work and train extended team.

The Must Haves:

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent engineering program
  • Basic industry understanding of telecommunications network terminology and technology such as Optical communication, Ethernet, and OTN is an asset.
  • Basic industry understanding of GRPC, NETCONF and REST API framework.
  • Working knowledge of Unix/LINUX
  • Excellent understanding and working with MS Office 365 (Excel, Visio, power point, frame maker) and Adobe.
  • Excellent with developing and documenting technical specs and presentations.
  • Good research and logical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well organized, methodological, and quick learner

Assets:

  • Strong understanding or use of GRPC, NETCONF and REST API framework

Rémunération et Avantages Sociaux

La fourchette de rémunération pour ce poste est de $24.50-$31.00
