Prodigy Personnel is recruiting for Customer Service Representative to help our client in the Hagersville area. This position is a Full Time shift available Monday to Friday.

Job Scope:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Customer Service, the CSR is responsible for providing excellent customer service and to maximize customer growth by following company guidelines and fostering cooperative spirit through teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
Bridge the daily communication between internal and external departments in operational matters to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
Customer order management & key customer contact for issues: Shortages, Logistics, tracking etc.
Receive, document and enter customer orders.
Daily call and answer orders from customers by phone
Provide support to Key Account personnel (as needed)
Proactive resolution of issues that threaten Customer Service levels.
Liaising with external and internal customers (Sales, Marketing, Logistics Depts.) Ensuring and exhibiting a professional attitude and demeanor to all who contact the company and to receive all incoming consumer complaints for all products produced by Gay Lea Foods
Issuing return merchandise authorization numbers for return products to eligible customers Process credits
Forward complaints with proper documentation to the Customer Service Supervisor
Make necessary arrangements to pick up complaint products for analysis.
Food Safety & Quality responsibilities as outlined in SOP's and other training materials provided and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education and 2 years' experience in a related field. Previous experience in a Food Processing industry would be an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Demonstrated ability to work independently and excel in a team environment Self-starter and team player with strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.) Excellent Telephone/Communications/people skills both written and verbal Prior experience with an ERP system would be an asset.
Proven ability to exercise diplomacy in stressful situations.

Working environment

Work is primarily sedentary in nature, with frequent interruptions and multiple deadlines.

Physical Demands

Sitting and keyboarding for considerable amounts of time.

Time:

8:30am-5pm.
