Overview:

Charter is currently seeking two (2) experienced Full Stack Developer for projects starting August 2024. The ideal resource will have 5+ years of experience in front and back-end software development and operational support of enterprise class, micro-service architectures. Previous experience in Visual Studio (C#/.NET), React Front End with TypeScript, Jest for testing, and automation using Azure Pipelines/Git is required. Location: Regina, SK (Remote). Term: Twelve (12) months. High possibility of extensions. Candidates must reside in Canada for the duration of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deliver implementing high-quality software delivered in a cloud, micro-service, event driven architecture.
  • Ensure that development activities and deliverables are aligned to the standards and coding practices defined under established cloud principles.
  • Work in a dynamic environment, understanding complex applications and handling multiple requests and priorities effectively.
  • A deep understanding of coding languages and new technologies and provides meaningful feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Serve as an escalation point for conflicts or priority issues within a sprint.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in software development and operational support of enterprise class, micro-service architectures.
  • Strong experience front and back-end development and skills to write software, i.e., software languages, operating systems, and cloud/server architectures.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Experience software testing primarily automated, accurately written, consistently executed.
  • Experience relational, big data, and unstructured database architectures.
  • Experience Service-oriented design, including Microservices, APIs, and best practices.
  • Experience DevOps practices and agile software development.
  • Experience Microservice architecture adhering to Domain Driven Design and leveraging Event Sourcing.
  • Experience Azure DevOps for tracking work.
  • Experience Visual Studio (C#/.NET).
  • Experience React Front End with TypeScript using Jest for testing.
  • Experience Test Automation.
  • Extensive experience automation using Azure Pipelines and Git.
  • Experience using Azure services for database technologies, monitoring, and identity.
  • Experience feature flagging using Launch Darkly.
  • Experience developing and supporting micro front ends.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
