Job Description:

HRIS Payroll Systems Analyst

Position Overview:

As the HRIS Payroll Systems Analyst, you will be at the forefront of administering and optimizing our HRIS system, with a primary focus on UKG. Your role will encompass system administration, configuration, and continuous improvement, contributing significantly to the efficiency and accuracy of our payroll and time management processes.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as the lead system administrator to ensure the integrity of the HRIS system (UKG), executing system changes and maintaining day-to-day operations.
Collaborate on the planning, implementation, and documentation of enhancements to UKG HR Core, Payroll, and Time Management functionality.
Play a key role in the implementation of future modules, becoming the system subject matter expert for UKG through learning, configuring, and testing all aspects of the new system.
Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in payroll data.
Create and maintain comprehensive business process and workflow documentation, providing recommendations for process improvements.
Participate in data conversion activities, working closely with business SMEs to understand conversion requirements.
Provide end user support, troubleshoot system issues, and make recommendations to users for correct software usage.
Work with business owners to establish and document processes that efficiently leverage system capabilities.
Modify system settings and customize instances via core access; manage company-wide settings as required.
Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and create custom reports as needed.
Review vendor release notes, coordinate testing, and deploy enhancements.

Requirements:

Education: PCP certification would be an asset.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing.
In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience as an HRIS analyst, with a focus on payroll systems, would be an asset.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and perform data analysis.
