Sagard Credit Overview:
Sagard Credit provides bespoke debt solutions to public and private middle market companies seeking capital in the U.Our investments are tailored to specific needs of the company, including support for growth, M&A, refinancing, recapitalizations and other strategic initiatives. Sagard’s credit offering includes investment strategies in opportunistic credit, senior lending, and collateralized loan obligations. The platform has a patient and long-term approach, coupled with a highly flexible capital base, giving it the ability to invest across industries and in complicated situations.
We are looking for a Summer Analyst based in Toronto to join Sagard Credit. The right candidate would join a collaborative team and get an opportunity to work on private credit transactions across a broad range of industries. The Summer Analyst will help with all aspects of sourcing, diligence, and execution. Sagard works in small deal teams, giving the Summer Analyst a significant amount of responsibility and opportunities to learn and advance their career.
Help build sophisticated financial models to assist in the investment process
Assist senior team members in negotiating and structuring documentation
Assist in portfolio monitoring and management
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or other related fields, with an expected graduation date in 2026
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
hard-working and willingness to work nights and weekends when required.
