Altis has partnered with a large real estate client to hire a Property Administrator in Richmond Hill, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations for a portfolio of commercial properties, including addressing tenant requests, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budget preparation and reporting.This is full-time, permanent position that offers competitive compensation, paid time off, health and dental benefits, and moreThis is a fully on-site position that requires you to work 5 days a week in Richmond Hill.Roles and ResponsibilitiesInput new accounting and lease administration data for new tenants and renewals.Prepare lease abstracts and necessary adjustments.Review and print monthly and quarterly reports, updating the Property Manager as needed.Serve as the primary contact for billing and collection issues.Ensure tenant insurance certificates are current and track renewals.Prepare cheque requisitions for tenant allowances and lease commissions.Respond to daily tenant inquiries and concerns.Organize and maintain tenant and building files, including contracts and insurance documentation.Assist the Property Manager with obtaining supplier quotations, contract administration, and scheduling work.Process bank deposits, reconcile accounts, and prepare monthly accounts receivable reports.Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in office or property administration, ideally in Property Management.Experience in commercial real estate, including lease review, information billing setup, and IT system data entry.Proficiency in Yardi Voyager is required.Possesses a positive, proactive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.Strong written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and practical knowledge of MS Office 365 applications.Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks, and committed to exceeding expectations with quality work.
