Located in Woodbridge, Ontario and offices in Montreal, Quebec, we are a leading beauty care and small kitchen appliances company with brands such as Conair, Cuisinart, and BaBylissPRO and we service the retail and professional markets in Canada.The Position:We have an opportunity for a Product Manager based at our Montreal office within our Professional division that markets products solely to the Hair Stylists and Barbers segment under the lead brand of BaBylissPRO. The Product Manager is accountable for overall management of the product lines within an assigned category in our Professional (PRO) division.If you are looking for an opportunity to join a thriving, dynamic organization with an entrepreneurial spirit and an action-oriented culture, this role is perfect for you.Location: MontrealResponsibilities:• Product development from a to z of items within various categories. This accounts for 70% of responsibilities.• Execution of new product launches through the development of packaging, POP material, and other related support material.• Develop and execute strategic plans for assigned categories to successfully achieve the budgeted goals.• Formulate and execute plans related to specific product introductions and subsequent measurement of sales impact in the marketplace.• Lead product presentations to internal sales team and external customer base.• Provide recommendations on all potential new product additions within category and forecasting of new products.• Source new products with overseas vendors.• Provide recommendation on pricing of products within categories.• Ongoing review/analysis of products within category, including inventory levels, while providing recommendations with respect to slow moving SKUs.• Ongoing review/analysis of the competitive marketplace related to current and new products within category.• Support sales in terms of product information, trends, samples, competitive information, and promotional strategies.• Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute product promotions and campaigns.Minimum Qualifications:• Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.• Minimum 5 years of marketing experience.• Minimum 5 years of product development experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.• Beauty industry experience an asset.• Must be fluently bilingual in English & French• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to work independently and with initiative.• Team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment• Highly organized with strong time management skills• Strong attention to detail and accuracy• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)We offer a hybrid-working environment and an attractive compensation package including extended health benefits, life insurance, and a defined contribution pension plan.Please forward your resume and cover letter to: recruitment_canada@conair.com
