The opportunity - collaborate with cross-functional teams and work on a variety of projects that will keep you engaged and continuously learning.
Process policy applications and update the administration system accurately and efficiently ensuring coverage changes are entered in a timely manner and reflected accurately.
Prepare insurance documents and contracts and ensure procedures and processes are kept up-to-date.
Monitor the progress of multiple ongoing implementations and provide regular updates to the customers and distribution partners.
Provide prompt and courteous resolution of enquiries (phone & email) from customers and distribution partners; Apply knowledge of systems, products, processes and contract wording to quickly and efficiently resolve challenges that arise during the implementation process to ensure a smooth implementation process for the customer
Prepare a variety of reports to validate financial and administrative data; communicate with customers to ensure data is correct and contractual obligations are being met; Post-secondary education in business administration or related discipline
~1+ years work experience managing accident & sickness benefits or customer service
~ Knowledge of individual disability products
~ Ability to apply policy terms and make timely decisions to solve problems
~ Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, internet and database software
