Architectural Sales Consultant

The Architectural Sales Consultant, you will prospect new architectural relationships to promote our specification services for division 8 and division 28 business by conducting AIA security solution presentations to architects and the design build (contractor) community, maintaining relationships through technical support and guidance, and following specifications through the full sales cycle to final closing of the opportunity.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with targeted architects to achieve annual goals. Influencing skills are essential.
  • Manage the sales process through effective CRM management and team communication.
  • Advise customers on products and applications. Suggest new products to achieve customer-specific needs.
  • Support architects as a business partner to maximize Allegion share through coordination, demand creation and strategy sessions.
  • Conduct site surveys and building walk-throughs to assist with development of specification standards and identifying potential issues
  • Maintain a strategic understanding of market conditions and be able to adapt to and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Attend factory training sessions to achieve industry-leading knowledge in both mechanical and electronic security solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills are a necessity.
  • Maintain excellent industry/territory knowledge by reviewing and understanding market date of competitive activity
  • Adapt to change in the marketplace
  • Ensure proper customers and partners are adequately trained on new and existing products
  • Maintain awareness of all Company policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance

  • De solides compétences en matière de présentation sont indispensables.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 4-6 years of Consultative, solution-based sales experience with similar/relevant industries and products
  • Bilingual in French and English, required
  • Experience with highly collaborative team-selling environments
  • Demonstrated aptitude for digital tools (CRM, Power BI, MS Office)
  • Demonstrated capability to work with mature databases, generate new partnerships and maximize pipeline of opportunities within existing accounts
  • Experience with demand creation & selling in a remote environment
  • Experience with channel-based sales in a similar environment highly preferred

  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans la vente ou l'architecture.
  • Une expérience de la vente de solutions électroniques ou de contrôle d'accès est un atout.
