Division 9, is part of the GESCO Industries LP, Canada’s largest floor covering solutions provider has an opportunity for a full-time position: Product Consultant Reporting into the Western Commercial Manager the Product Consultant is responsible for the diversification initiative of all product categories within the channels of property management, condo, medical/dental offices, corporate segments etc. The person will be responsible for driving new business through specifications and sales. Required to be the main contact between, End Users, Architects, Designers, General Contractor, and sub-trades in the market.Responsibilities:Prospecting potential designers and clients in all market segments with a focus on the commercial channel to drive sales in the marketConduct product presentations and support sample needs with new/existing productsTrack/manage projects through business sales cycle and communicate regularly with key stakeholdersSupport marketing initiatives including trade shows, product launches, presentations and industry eventsSupport product management team on product needs for the clients in the market.The Ideal Candidate will have:Degree or Diploma is preferred5 years or more of sales, marketing, or related experienceExisting relationships within the Commercial Design Community in the Greater Vancouver areaExperience with interior design, architecture, general contracting within the Vancouver market as it relates to building materials and interior finishesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentExceptional attention to detailIntermediate Computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
