Job Title: VP, Business Director

Role Overview:

The VP, Business Director will be responsible for all aspects of the client's business. They provide vision and leadership, develop and lead teams, and ensure the highest quality product and client satisfaction. The incumbent will be responsible for building relationships at the highest level of the client and executing business strategy to drive results. They will provide leadership, strategic direction, and input for overall business solutions while ensuring account profitability and actively seeking new business opportunities for account growth in the region. They will effectively leverage experience, knowledge and skills to push innovative thinking and set challenging team goals and objectives balancing client, company and team priorities.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, solidify and maintain client relationships, ensuring collaboration, strong partnership and a united vision to achieve client business objectives
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of accounts acting as key strategic lead and client contact attending client meetings and making presentations as needed
  • Serve as role model/daily demonstration of MediaCom culture, core values and best practices
  • Lead, motivate and inspire account teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and team work
  • Staff career development/succession planning through strong mentoring and coaching
  • Train and mentor new staff
  • Rigorous financial management
  • Responsible for account revenue targets and appropriate resourcing
  • Track profitability targets
  • Approve forecast system
  • Achieve baseline revenue and organic growth targets
  • Prospect new clients and contribute to new business pitches
  • Responsible for client performance reviews including Vantage scores, with a goal of achieving all clients in green or secure
  • Manage SOW and ultimately client expectations within agreed upon deliverables
  • Collaborate with strategy and investment teams in order to set strategic framework
  • Development of industry and category POVs on respective client business
  • Identify opportunities within portfolio of accounts in order to deliver commercial and S&I targets
  • Link between client, strategy and investment teams from a strategic standpoint
  • Responsible for driving PRIP (client bonus structure) through management of client scorecard and evaluation
  • Build and nurture relationships with client partner agencies, ensuring collaboration, strong partnership and a united vision to achieve client business objectives
  • Identify opportunities within portfolio of accounts in order to deliver commercial and S&I targets
  • Lead client's plan presentations. Accountable to ensure the plan answers the brief in a client-appropriate manner that will drive their business goals.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business related field (Business, Marketing, Communications)
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership level, preferably in the media industry
  • Proven experience driving top-line growth
  • Experience in or across a variety of marketing / client types
