Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm
The Corporate HSE & ESG Manager at Centurion Canada Rentals and Services will oversee all aspects of our HSE & ESG management, ensuring alignment locally and globally. Responsibilities include leading the HSE & ESG team, collaborating with operations for system consistency and growth. Reporting to Senior Management, the manager evaluates and enhances our system to foster a culture of HSE excellence and leadership.
Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the HSE & ESG team, including regular supervision and check-ins, and coordinate training initiatives.
Complete and review HSE reports, gathering statistics monthly, monitoring trends, and communicating key information to Senior Managers through weekly meetings.
Support the development of HSE priorities and strategies, ensuring successful rollout and collaboration with Senior Management and the Global HSE/ESG team.
Align HSE/ESG strategies with business objectives, meeting regularly with segment leads and ensuring consistency within geo-markets and global strategies.
Conduct regular field and shop evaluations to maintain group alignment and consistency of HSE/ESG management systems, ensuring safety culture and standards are upheld.
Ensure compliance with HSE/ESG regulations by regularly reviewing certifications, online reporting platforms, and legislation requirements, and updating management systems accordingly.
Foster a culture of HSE/ESG excellence within CCRS through strategic initiatives, engagement, and communication with Operations and Senior Management.
Oversee investigations of HSE incidents, accidents, and near misses, participating in the process, ensuring effective completion, and reporting findings and corrective actions.
Manage training, maintenance, and support of HSE Management systems and programs, ensuring all requirements are met, developing new priorities, and overseeing policy implementation and communication with Senior Management and Operations teams.
Minimum 5 years' experience with occupation health and safety management.
High School, post-secondary school diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field of study.
ESG knowledge and experience is considered an asset.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety management, applicable federal, provincial and municipal regulations/legislation, Workplace Safety & Insurance Act, the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations and applicable Human Rights.
Knowledge of WCB/LTD processes and procedures, including WCB claims management and related legislation.
Experience with disability management, accident investigation, workplace inspection and job hazard analysis are preferred.
Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
