Above.Land is looking for a Creative Line Producer to join their team as they craft an immersive MMO RPG that the studio believes will set the genre alight, bringing the best of both gaming and cinematic experiences to a global audience.

As Creative Line Producer, you will play a crucial role in the development of the game, collaborating with teams across departments to manage resources, keeping the project on track to meet production milestones and developing innovative processes to mitigate roadblocks.

You’ll bring your organizational and leadership ability to the project, championing effective communication alongside your management skills and techniques to enhance the production process. Building relationships across teams to allow you to stay on top of the production process and adapt to any changing situations or circumstances that impact the projects development plan.

You will be joining a studio that has assembled a team that is both very technically proficient and highly motivated, who collectively are excited to work on a project that will change the industry. This collective desire and mindset has resulted in a great company culture and team approach to the project.

Your responsibilities…
  • Enable the Game Director to achieve their creative vision
  • Lead the Creative and Cinematics Production team in managing the daily operations of Production for the project
  • Partner with the management team and supervisors to understand the overall game vision, requirements communicate them across the development teams
  • Create and maintaining project plans and schedules
  • Monitor the project budget and overall planning while ensuring production runs smoothly
  • Recommend and implement new processes where needed to improve on-time or on-budget delivery
  • Working with other Production Managers to create realistic schedules and mitigate risks/blockers
  • Communicate with management and determine strategy to keep production on track while reducing the impact on teams
  • Lead, guide and mentor a production team to support the needs of the game
  • Motivate and guide the team, supporting company initiatives for team and culture building
  • Clarify milestones, prioritize deliverables, give updates, address concerns, provide direction, gather feedback with your team
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • 5 or more years of project management / production experience on AAA titles
  • Expertise with Shotgrid, Hansoft, Jira or other similar Project Management software and the ability to quickly pick up proprietary tools
  • Experience of delivering large, complex projects
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable prioritizing and working to deadlines
  • Thrive in a fast-paced creative team environment
  • Passionate about the games and entertainment industry
  • Bonus points if you have experience with Shotgrid
