AZ General Labor and Data Entry Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an AZ General Labor and Data Entry Specialist. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle general labor tasks related to the care and handling of baby chickens, as well as AZ deliveries and perform data entry duties to ensure accurate record-keeping. This position offers a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, and competitive hourly compensation ranging from $27 to $30. The role includes all duties listed below.

Responsibilities:

AZ Delivery: * AZ Local Deliveries of baby chicks to Farms in the GTA/ KW Region 3-4 times weekly

  • Clean and sanitize truck as needed, while also preforming safety checks before and after each delivery
  • Manual Driving is a requirement due to the truck you are driving
  • Must have clean driving abstract & 2-3 years AZ driving experience
General Labor: * Assist in the care and handling of baby chickens, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and well-being.
  • Clean and sanitize chicken coops, equipment, and facilities to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing bedding, repairing equipment, and ensuring proper ventilation.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of the chickens and yourself.
Data Entry: * Accurately enter data related to chicken inventory, production records, and other relevant information into computer systems or databases.
  • Verify and correct data discrepancies to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Generate reports and summaries as needed for management or regulatory purposes.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files to ensure easy access and retrieval of information.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks such as counting and recording stock levels.
Requirements: * Previous experience in general labor, agriculture, or animal care is preferred.
  • 2-3 years AZ driving experience with clean abstract
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and data management software.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Understanding of and commitment to following health and safety guidelines and protocols.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
