Accounts Payable:
Code invoices with appropriate account numbers and departments
Enter invoices into the accounting system for payment processing

Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable

Accounts Receivable:
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments
Process incoming payments, including checks, credit card payments, and electronic transfers
Reconcile payments received with accounts receivable ledger
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes with customers
Prepare and distribute periodic reports on accounts receivable status

General Accounting Support:
Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
Assist with audit preparations and provide necessary documentation as required
Perform other clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and mail distribution
associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or similar role
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office applications, especially Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
