A career with us offers: A fun, fast paced culture Competitive wages and benefits On-going industry training programs and professional development opportunities A professional, collaborative and progressive work environment An empowering atmosphere where people are inspired to do great work The chance to work with Canada’s leading F&I provider Position Summary: The Director, OEM Program, reports to the Vice President, OEM, and is responsible for the leadership, oversight and management of Sym-Tech’s relationship with a major Canadian Automotive OEM client. This position is the key relationship owner with the OEM client and is responsible for the achievement of all business objectives through exceptional client service. This role is the key day-to-day relationship owner with the OEM client, responsible for flawless operational execution, achievement of business objectives and strong program governance. Position Functions: Oversees business, functional and operational KPIs to ensure that the program is meeting objectives. Identifies priorities for growth and efficiency through internal and Client collaboration. Manages Program Governance, including leading key meetings and coordinating reporting cadence, and all other governance requirements. Works with Client staff educating, training and providing value-added expertise. Ensures strong teamwork between all Client and Sym-Tech functional areas. Pro-actively anticipates and resolves any program issues in a timely manner. Takes the lead on developing annual business plans with OEM client. Manages any assigned projects to a successful completion. Represents Sym-Tech at a senior level with OEM client, dealers and external partners. Minimum Qualifications & Competencies: Education / Experience Undergraduate Degree. 5+ years of national automotive account management experience, or comparable experience with an Automotive OEM, Automotive Captive, Automotive protection program (F&I) provider or Automotive Financial Services provider. Knowledge / Competencies Understanding of OEM culture, processes and dealer relationships. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills in a collaborative environment. Effective presentation skills - capable of communicating effortlessly with senior management, internal team members, external vendors, industry and dealer audiences. Demonstrated project management skills - working with many stakeholders in managing multiple projects/priorities. Strong analytical skills. Proficient computer skills - MS Excel, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet. English fluency / French an asset. Travel Requirements ~ 10-15%. Personal Attributes Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Enjoys constructive debate - unafraid to challenge the status quo. Loves asking “why”. Execution and Performance oriented - driven to achieve and then some. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to excellence. Ability to work independently without frequent direction. A take ownership attitude with an inherent sense of urgency.
