Canada Emily Carr University of Art and Design Full time

We are currently seeking individuals to teach credit courses in our faculties for the 2024/2025 academic year:
* Faculty of Culture + Community ( CAC )
* Please note : for those applying to teach in our Critical Studies provision, we are particularly looking for scholars with experience teaching to questions of gender and sexuality, decolonial and anti-racist pedagogies, indigenous and diasporic cultures. Experience working collaboratively and in an art-related context is an asset.
To help in diversifying the curriculum we offer, this year we would like to invite applicants to take the opportunity to include in applications some thumbnail descriptions (two-three sentences) of focused, ‘topics’ courses you might like to teach, have special expertise in and that might grow out your own research.
We are seeking instructors with experience teaching writing across the disciplines at a post-secondary level to work our HUMN 100/ HUMN 101 linked curriculum course. Instructors will teach a critical writing seminar making links to the large lecture visual culture course using common assignments and a combined schedule.

Non-regular faculty must be physically located within the province of British Columbia when teaching and delivering courses for Emily Carr University (this includes online and hybrid courses).
