The Indian Teacher Education Program (ITEP), the Department of Curriculum Studies in the College of Education, and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer to teach the following community-based courses during the following session(s):

Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture.
Course Schedule:
Course delivery and instruction will include block delivery over a three-week schedule for four hours per day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Expected Enrollment Limit: 20
Location: White Bear First Nations (approx. 1.5hrs NE of Estevan, SK)

Qualifications: Completion of a graduate degree, in Education or related discipline and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. Applicants must possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit culture as well as the socio-economic and pedagogical factors associated with teaching this body of students. Strong consideration will be given to those who have previously taught in community-based ITEP courses.

A valid driver’s license is required for any off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
