Job description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks :

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment on a continuous production line
  • Provide technical analysis of equipment performance
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Participate in special projects in collaboration with his/her team on his/her section
  • Prepare schedules and organize the work of his/her team
  • Anticipate future maintenance needs
  • Resolve technical faults as quickly as possible
  • Participate in the purchase of critical parts and the choice of suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Supervise an electromechanic
  • Other tasks related to increasing machine performance on dedicated shift

We're looking for someone with leadership and perseverance who likes to solve problems in the shortest possible time. Our ideal candidate has extensive technical expertise, enabling him/her to be highly efficient in his/her work. This is a person who is serene, calm and able to take the pressure in the face of potential unforeseen shutdowns that could impact the whole of production. Your Profile

- 3 years' experience minimum
-DEC in electrical, industrial or metallurgical engineering
-Experience on a continuous production line, a real asset
-Advanced knowledge of electronics, electricity, mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics
-C degree an asset
-Experience in heavy industry mandatory

What we offer :

  • Salary: $90k + 5% bonus
  • In-office position, permanent position 36h over 3 days - Night Shift
  • Full medical coverage paid at 50% by the employer, RRSP upon 6%, paid leave negotiable according to experience.
