Electrotechnician

Under the supervision of the Supervisor and/or team lead, the incumbent performs various tasks of inspection, maintenance, repair and installation on electrical infrastructure, industrial and building equipment. The incumbent performs all in accordance with plans, specifications and the Canadian electrical code on Montreal Port Authority installations. He also designs and corrects plans using various software. He/she will work closely with the linemen team.

Perform all other related duties.

Participate in the continuous improvement of processes within his/her position or department, as needed.

**Qualifications**
- College diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and accrued ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Any combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Possess a certificate of qualification in electricity (certificat de qualification en électricité), an essential requirement.
- Possess a class 3 driver’s license is an asset but will need to obtain in the future.
- Possess the tools required for the job.
- Demonstrate autonomy, a good attitude, a sense of responsibility and leadership.
- Demonstrated experience supporting operations with linemen, an asset.
- Customer service approach.
- Possess training on operating a pod is an asset.
- Bilingual (French and English), an asset.
- Strong capacity for teamwork.
- Available to work occasionally outside normal working hours.
