I am currently recruiting an Electrotechnician for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the agri-food sector located in Montreal.
Permanent position 40h/week - day shiftReporting to the Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities include :- Intervene to restart a problem line following a disturbance, breakdown, malfunction or unplanned shutdown;

  • Performs planned engineering or continuous improvement work on various production equipment to improve line efficiency and performance;
  • Checks and inspects electrical equipment to prevent defects and meet quality standards;
  • Communicates any modifications made or complications encountered to the teams responsible for the departments affected;
  • Diploma of Collegial Studies D.E.C. in Electrical Engineering Technology: automation and control
  • Licence C (Carte de compétence d'électricien hors construction) or accumulated hours (min 2500h), an asset
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers
  • Knowledge of production systems in a manufacturing environmentYour professional skills :-Knowledge of SAP maintenance management software
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLCs
  • Knowledge of food industry equipment
  • Bilingualism (French, English)
