Responsibilities:

  • Process, reconcile and record commercial rents, laundry and coin, cable, and other miscellaneous income in Boardwalk's internal accounting and property management software
  • Prepare and process daily deposits in Boardwalk's internal accounting and property management software
  • Issue Purchase Orders for the Accounting and Legal Departments
  • Process and post corporate credit card transactions weekly
  • Coordinate and assist with processing NSFs
  • Assist in responding to queries from the Customer Care Team and Operations Leaders
  • Prepare and enter Accounts Receivable entries to the general ledger
  • Assist with other duties as required

Education and Experience:

  • Accounting Certificate or Diploma
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable or Payable Clerk

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Familiarity working in a fast-paced computer environment an asset
  • Understanding of receivable and payable transaction cycles an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently and with other Associates in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Good organizational skills
  • Maintain confidentiality of tenant files
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and enthusiasm for “getting the job done”
